The Gift of Patience

What is it that you’re anticipating?

Always in a rush, but never paying attention to what’s going on, are you close enough? What is it that you’re waiting on? Always in a rush to cross the street, but don’t look in both directions. What is it that you’re running from? Being in a rush is never fun, we lose focus and focus what we’re rushing towards, or maybe running away from…

The battle never ends.

Being mindful, even when it is the most difficult is what we need. That’s how we do better.

Stop the impulse of having to react each time something happens. Not everything needs our approval. Sometimes we need to sit down, be still, let things ride. Stop the impulse of having to rescue everyone when you need to rescue yourself. We have this world, we share our worlds, but it doesn’t mean it has to revolve around someone else. When will you evolve if you choose to involve yourself with what doesn’t serve you.

Be patient, but also set yourself free.

Set yourself free from anything that doesn’t serve you or your purpose.

Set yourself free from the responsibility of having to rescue others.

Set yourself free from the past.

Set yourself free.

The gift of patience allows you to sort through what you need in your life. Allow yourself permission to sort things through. It doesn’t need a timeline, and you don’t have to give yourself a deadline.

You just have to allow yourself.

You just have to be patient.
