You Are Your Worst Enemy…

Why must we do this to ourselves? We build ourselves up just enough to be put back on the shelf. All that hard work, and what for? To be placed on the shelf???

We’re our own worst enemy. At times, it feels as  if we’re not. But really we are. Lets be honest with ourselves. No matter what anyone else says, or how they see us. It is not our responsibility to change that. Don’t play the game, you know you don’t deserve that, especially when we’re so hard on ourselves already.

The power lies within us. What we believe to what we want to achieve……

We’re our own worst enemy, but oftentimes we try to switch that focus to another. What good is it to play that game? None of that matters, none of it is the same. Instead, it is a distraction to help take the focus from ourselves….Don’t fall for it though 😛

Take ownership! Being your own enemy can be as beneficial as being your own friend. You have to really question yourself and not be afraid to go deep.

Reflect on yourself, the people you surround yourself with, the types of situations and resolutions that have inspired you, or moved you. Ask yourself (enemy self) why and how things can change, for the better.

Any enemy can turn into a friend. Sometimes it takes a little more effort to truly get to the resolution and to apprehend it.

Don’t be afraid to discover the enemy inside you, somewhere in there is another you, no longer an enemy, but a better friend.

Let’s no longer fight with the enemy, and let’s become friends with her instead 🙂

You Get Tired Of It…

You Get Tired Of It…

And eventually become sick of it…figuratively and physically.

What do you do????

You STOP!!!

As a coach, I often have the answers for others, but sometimes not for myself. But knowing myself, I have to constantly remind myself, and remind myself to remind myself again , and again (lol). This is a mindful activity that some people do, but many of us don’t actually have that ability as it is not a part of how we operate, and trust me it is not a skill. However, we can still enhance it.

When you get tired of what ever “IT” is, take this moment as an opportunity to reevaluate, readjust, redo. MEDITATE! or do whatever it is that helps you reconnect with yourself. I had to find what works for me, and sometimes it is more than one thing, however, the idea is to rid the negative distractions, and to become more at peace.

THINK about it. How can you receive anything, if you’re not open? How can you see with your eyes closed? We do a lot of things to distract ourselves, and continue the habit of the distraction, and yet never quite stop, sometimes not even pause for a moment. We just go and go and go……… next? It is a never ending cycle, and then we wonder why things aren’t progressing as they should. We are evolving in a lot of different ways, but maybe we need to evolve more internally. We are so fast to get somewhere, then before you know it, we aren’t really getting anywhere. We’re just spinning the wheels.

This is why it is important to STOP! Breathe! Listen! and Trust!

STOP the negativity, by stopping what you are doing. Even when you entertain the negative, you are just as bad as the negative. Stop it. When you complain about someone else’s complaint, belief, lack of, gain, etc. You are just like them…. You ever think about the crazy stuff going on in the world, and see or hear others going back and forth about the rights and wrongs, but none of it is to remedy the actual problem itself. This means that we are the problem!

Breathe. Know that what we cannot control is out of our control for a reason. It can be difficult to accept that, but once you do, you set yourself free to focus on what you can control. Like YOUrself. Some people tend to have control issues, wanting to manipulate situations, or others, because it makes them feel superior. But what better satisfaction than to have complete control over yourself and your life. Are you really in control? Don’t give that power to the distraction(s).

Listen. Because a lot of us just talk, and talk, and talk, sometimes about NOTHING! And it is annoying. How can one learn if they talk more than listen? All of us don’t have the answers, but we can all answer questions together. We can all come to a solution, but do we all want to Listen to each other?

Trust. You are tired, mentally, physically, maybe even emotionally, but trust that it means something to you. Think of putting  a puzzle together. When you get tired, the universe is trying to tell you something, but you have to find the missing pieces to put them together. This takes time. But this is why it is important to Stop, Breathe, Listen, and Trust. You have to put time into what you want, and sometimes you have to do absolutely nothing to figure it all out.

Life’s like a scavenger hunt,

But….what will you collect along the way?

U Can’t Even Look In 2 My iIi’s

U Can’t Even Look In 2 My iIi’s

I Feel Too Much, so I’m often misunderstood. So many people are busy caught into their own feelings, and not seeing the whole picture as they should. It’s funny when I do, and yet some see it as being weak, not realizing that it actually takes a lot of strength. Not dealing with someone, or something, is a decision to deal with something, or someone better. An unmatched competition. People become upset whenever I choose myself, and to make it clear I will forever choose her over anyone else…… I Feel Too Much, and you can’t even lie, the words I’ve expressed has you surprised. Misunderstood, yet again, but it’s my fault you can’t comprehend? I often ask myself what world are we living in, but then I realize that I’m the one who’s an alien. I Feel Too Much, and know my limits, you refuse to feel as much, and so you’ll continue to lose that much……….. I’ve learned the feelings must be mutual in order for me to thrive. You’ll get what you see, and I can promise you that here are no lies. I Feel Too Much, so it’s important you comprehend me. I like the push, it lets me know that deep down you are feeling me…….. I Feel Too Much, and it’s the same of what I want, so if you cannot look into my iIis then you are hiding something, expose your lies…. I Feel Too Much, so it is important for me to feel trusted, and if you cannot do the same for me, then it is too late, you were already busted.

U Can’t Even Look In 2 My iIi’s, but then it is at that time I realize where your true intentions lie…

Inhale, I Exhale/Excel…

Inhale, I Exhale/Excel…

I Feel Too Much, so I’d rather do. And I can’t quite describe it, it’s like a rabbit stuck in a hole, and suddenly it hops right out of it. I must do, because if I don’t the feelings will subdue, and I refuse to lose. Oh my God, the feelings are becoming stronger, I have to do something, otherwise it’ll turn into a big bother. I have to allow these feelings to guide me, what is my purpose? What are you trying to advise me? Inhale, I Exhale, I’m learning to take it all in. Inhale, I Excel, I knew this would happen, my intuition is my ultimate captain. I learn to trust myself more by ignoring the distractions. They are just there to disssssstract, and I’m not here for all of that. Inhale, I Exhale, I’m feeling a little better. Sometimes the feelings become so intense, I feel as if I’m under the weather. I’m not. I’m just in my feelings, trying to sort things out, trying to get the their meanings. Inhale, I Excel. I refuse to hold myself back. Anyone who knows me, knows that, so why would you expect me to allow you to do that? Inhale, I Exhale. I love, and I forgive. Continuously. Life is like that sometimes, you breathe in, taking it for what it is. You breathe out, letting the lessons of life flow about. Inhale…. now Exhale/Excel it all out.

Pay Attention & Take Note…

Not everyone sees the things you see, and maybe they’re not suppose to. You see things for a reason, and yes it is unclear sometimes on why you see it, but use what you see to your advantage to help yourself, and others. You ever do something for someone, or see something and thought “why did I have to see that?” or why did this happen? I like to look at these incidents as a shift coming into action. Pay close attention to these circumstances. Sometimes, I feel that random things happen to prepare us for the next step of our journey. You have to learn to use these opportunities as a a way to learn. This can either be for your advantage, or maybe for someone else. Just pay attention.

The answer might be right in front of you, or maybe a question will pop in your head, but whatever the case is, if you pay close attention you’ll discover something you may have not discovered before. Take notice to these things, behaviors of others, and what they say and how they say it. It can be anywhere, and anyone, but you paying attention is being thoughtful about the situation. Exercise your thoughts! too many of us are not fully utilizing our brain. This doesn’t mean you have to come up with a solution, it just means to think, more so exercising your mind to become more mindful. Sounds simple right? Our way of thinking triggers from our habits. We become so use to thinking a certain way, or not thinking at all.

This creates issues, such as misunderstanding others, or ourselves, jumping into conclusions, and just plain thinking you know everything. We all do not have the answers, yet we should be open-minded into thinking about the possibilities. There can be more than one right or wrong answer, or solutions, yet we have to learn to expand the way we think. Once we have mastered this, we can expand our way of doing other things. Think about it. You learn to master the way you think, and began paying attention more, and then become more open and even wiser about your actions.

The more you pay attention, the more you create for yourself, but you have to put in the work. It takes practice, and all of us can enhance our way of thinking, and being.

Take it one day at a time, and consider the new things you notice when you pay close attention.

Any new thoughts?

Stop Pressuring Yourself…

Don’t be so mean.

You make these goals, just so you feel accomplished. But still, that wasn’t enough. You get more than one job, and take on any hobby that comes your way, and still it is not enough. Have you really thought to yourself why, or if you actually like these things. Or are you too busy trying to keep up with everyone else, by ignoring your true self.

Exhausting to think about right. It’s a word I use quite often, I think, exhausting… because a lot of “things” are meaningless if they lack feeling, and for me that is exhausting. I feel like it is important to try things, at least once, well depending on what it is. Coordinating different things in any part of your journey can be fun, and we should not pressure ourselves so much. We need to learn to flow with it…Go….With….The…Flow…as they say, ya know. This is something quite new to some of us, but ever get tired of that, putting so much pressure on yourself? It’s time for something new.

Sometimes you gotta let your goals accomplish themselves. You’ve already put in the work, so leave it alone. Step back sometimes, and let that shit marinate. Like a tender steak. You have to learn to give yourself time, and not think that results are going to happen as you please. The universe works wonders, but that’s just it. LET IT! Don’t be too busy wondering, just do and know that it is already yours.

Take it easy…

Distractions, Good and Bad?…

That feeling when your senses are feeling…..

Lately, I have been super distracted, and it has been both good and bad. I even slip at work sometimes, and it doesn’t help when you’re on camera LOL. By distractions, I’m mainly referring to the mind. It is amazing how beautiful the mind can be, yet sometimes we get caught up in our thoughts so much that it becomes a distraction from the present moment, and from the action that we need to take towards that thought….

Let’s try to be productive using those distractions. For instance, When I find myself deep in thought, I will take out my diary, or note pad and begin writing or making lists. This has helped organize my thoughts. Another problem is sometimes getting so lost in that thought that you forget about the things going on around you. Man, I tell ya my day dreams are mad unpredictable yet very vivid. I definitely enjoy the imagination I have, and believe it is important to practice, yet I need to do better at multi-tasking. I’m thinking it is because of this holiday season, and a lot of people are either down or anxious, including myself. This can really take a toll on our emotions, and sometimes our thoughts will go beyond what we imagined before, and sometimes cause unnecessary stress.

Just remember to be thoughtful of these distractions. It can be so easy to get caught up in thinking so much that you lose touch of the present moment…go ahead keep on thinking, but remember to pause sometimes.

Take care,
