Getting My Mojo Back – Day 1 of DRY JANUARY!

Today was a bit of a rollercoaster. I slept pretty hard given all the junk I had for NYE and drinks, but it’s more of a reason why I need to do this. Every year I do a master cleanse, and every year it gets easier because you know your body needs it.

I worked out for 30 minutes, and had a yoga session afterwards. It was a great reset for my body. I then meditated and listened to music which was great for my mind and soul. I had a good cry later in the day, I was feeling overwhelmed with emotion. There is so much I want to get done and accomplish for myself, but it’s hard when you feel stuck and not know where to start or what to do. I have to remember that each day is a new day to start something, and also not beat yourself up, especially over things you can’t control.

I’m reminding myself to take more risks, and to take it one day at a time. You cannot rush perfection, you cannot rush the process. The journey itself is a process, and there is no master behind it. You are still a student in this thing called life. I’m also reminding myself to release. Let go of the old, and welcome the new. It can be difficult trying to do things while you’re in an environment that’s not allowing you, but it is also the mind. I’m reminding myself that you gotta push through it, no matter what environment you’re in.

I’m learning that it is within me to make myself thrive in any environment that I’m in, and as an empath I have to carve out space for others, including myself. My feelings are valid, even if others see things differently. My feelings are expressed, even if others don’t agree with me. My feelings mean something to me, even if they are not appreciated by others.

This first day of Getting MY Mojo Back, was all about letting go. Letting go of the old, be it habits, friends, and anything no longer serving me. I’m re-learning to depend solely on myself again because at the end of the day, no one is going to care for you the way you care for yourself.

This month is all about getting back to the basics. If you or anyone you know would like to join me on FREE workouts, please message me and I will provide my ZOOM link.

There will be limited spaces, and each workout will be 30 minutes with light stretching. Please feel free to let others know. And again there will be limited spaces, and workouts will be EVERY SUNDAY this month starting on the 8th at 930a PST.

My goal is to create a friendly and open online community for those who don’t necessarily like going to the gym. You can be an introvert, athlete, busy, stay-at-home parent, shy, or maybe a beginner. No one on zoom has their video shown (unless you want to), because all of my clients are here to have a good workout, not compare or make fun of others.

This is to create a friendly online community.
