I tend to read multiple books at a time, and not sure exactly at the moment what I’m going to read next.
However, I do know it’ll be a book about yoga, or something about spiritual or personal growth (so if anyone has suggestions let me know!) I’m currently reading (again) The Bhagavad Gita & Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, Bhakti Yoga, and Yoga For Everyone by Dianne Bondy, as well as Professional Troublemaker The Fear-Fighter Manual by Luvvie Ajayi Jones.
I like to refreshen my mind on yoga philosophies, yoga ethics and its history (as it is apart of my yoga teaching and personal practice).
I also enjoy reading spiritual or personal development books as I am always motivated by them.
Maybe I’ll read another book from Luvvie, she has recently become one of my favorite authors. Growing up, I read a lot of Maya Angelou’s books, and she inspired me to take my writing more seriously. Luvvie has also inspired me, and has modern tips on how you can work for yourself and be your own boss in life.
I really enjoy any book that provides insights and motivation, because we all need positive guidance.
I was called to write a book, and finished last year. I’m looking forward to publishing it (hopefully this year), and I’m already in the process of writing another.
Reading and writing are both therapeutic for me, and I enjoy learning from others while also building the courage to write my own material. We all have a story to share that can help others, so why not learn and create things that can last forever.
