It means I accept who you for who are and see your worth. And because I accept not just for who you are, but who you’ve shown me doesn’t mean I have to be around. My love doesn’t detain people from the world & doesn’t hold me down either. Love can be presented in many ways, but just because the love is there doesn’t mean it represents something pure. As unconditional it may be, it changes due to the lack of conditions met. Love shouldn’t hurt, but it does in some way. We are never truly satisfied. One or the other becomes hurt, and one or the other becomes the blame. You can say you love me all you want, but it doesn’t erase the pain. There were good times, but why are the bad times more vivid? There were ups and downs, but why saying you love me no longer makes me smile? Instead I’m reminded of the times; how they were and how it’s been, and how I can no longer pretend.
