WE CAN’T HELP EVERYBODY!

WE CAN’T HELP EVERYBODY!

WE CAN’T HELP EVERYBODY!

WE CAN’T HELP EVERYBODY!

WE CAN’T HELP EVERYBODY!

WE CAN’T HELP EVERYBODY!

WE CAN’T HELP EVERYBODY!

Sometimes we have to remind ourselves of that. I used to be that one. The GOTO. Whenever anyone needed help, they’d come to me. No matter what it was, I’d go out of my way to please that person. Their need was just as important to me. But I began losing myself (hence getting MY mojo back). I was so focused on helping others, I was depleting my own needs. The intention was good but the place wasn’t. I was hurt, confused, and didn’t know what to do with myself. I was so used to putting everything and everyone before me, and I didn’t know how to take care of myself. I had to learn a different way of living. We Can’t Help Everybody, because not everyone needs or wants our help. We Cant Help Those who are too blind to see. We have to find what’s necessary in the moment, and focus on helping ourselves. We can’t pour from an empty cup, and what about the others who really need our help. Lets refocus on what matters.

We can drive ourselves crazy trying to help and care for others. We just want the best for them. However, they have to want it for themselves. We can only do so much. Why try to force it. Change your focus. I’m learning to listen more than speak, not everyone needs to hear my opinion. I’m learning to understand others more, not everyone needs to understand me. I’m learning to give myself the love and care I give out, not everyone will do the same. Change the focus, so you can widen your perspective. You can mean well, but it doesn’t mean what you’re doing is okay for others. Let go, there’s something else that needs your attention.

AFFIRMATION:

I release the need to help everyone, and only help those who value me & my wisdom. I release the need to save others who don’t need saving. I now use my energy to help and save myself.
