Even when it’s out of their sight, they don’t want to hear it.

Disregarding you as a person, when you’re just trying to make your own life worth it.

They sure don’t want to hear about it, as if it makes them uncomfortable.

If its not about them they don’t care, and deep down you know this.

Nothing they do is out of pocket, but everything you do is catastrophic.

Everyone else sees it, but deep down some of them rather not hear it.

And they don’t like to see it, instead they rather make others see what’s not there, making up stories that they love to share.

Plotting and holding your mistakes against you, even though it had nothing to do with them, but just you.

And that’s what they like to see, being in the spotlight makes them feel free.
