Continuing where we left off on “Getting Out Of Your Comfort Zone”, you must have fun with it….
This means enjoying the process of the change. You recognize the struggle, EASY! we all know how to do that, but pay closer attention to the prize. What has helped me tremendously is finding a hobby/hobbies. If you’re anything like me, you like to stay busy. I know myself well enough that if I don’t do enough, I can’t relax at the end of the day. You get that feeling of guilt for not doing enough (or at least feeling like it). No matter what we’re doing, it is how we FEEL that matters! And if you’re not having fun then what’s the point right.
Now, this does not mean you have to “have fun” all day, every day, but at least try to create some type of fulfillment. This makes all the difference, trust me. For instance, if you’re into fitness, try a workout you haven’t done before. For example, I’m usually into cardio (running & the great ol’ stairmaster), but recently I’ve been punching and kicking the hell out of this Everlast punching bag, and its AMAZING!

This relates to me getting out of my comfort zone, because it is something new to add to my fitness journey. Now YOU do it, do something different and see how liberating you feel. If you keep practicing this, you will be more open to trying new things, which results in getting our of your comfort zone. Sometimes you have to learn to do these things on your own, especially if you have little to no support. We will continue this in the next blog, but til then I hope I gave you something to think about, have an epic day!
