This is a reminder to myself and others, who may be experiencing the same thing….

This is my very first blog post, ever, and to be honest (or “tbh” these days (lol)) I’m nervous. I’ve always enjoyed reading and writing, and my passion has sparked even more now than before. I believe, in most cases, we become distracted, and in a sense lose ourselves. Sometimes this can be a good thing, if it is indeed bettering ourselves, but it can also be a bad thing. Getting out of our comfort zone is necessary. We have to get shook up sometimes in order for us to grow.

Getting out of your comfort zone can be liberating. You have to look at it as an opportunity. Whether if it be for a new job, helping someone, or helping yourself. We have to break that habit of feeling doubt, and fear, or at lease learn to cope when feeling like this. After earning my master’s degree in psychology, a lot of doubt and fear entered my brain, like a storm. I had no clue what my next step was going to be, and I didn’t intend to become a “psychologist” like most people would imagined. My degree was not a practicum study, but instead an advanced degree in behavioral health science. Of course I have the option of going back to school, but I know it is not my calling, at least right now.

Being creative has allowed me to get out of my comfort zone. And WE ARE all CREATIVE. Whether if you are good with your hands, eyes, mouth, etc. As humans, we are given this talent, of whatever that may be. YOU just have to discover it. This involves a lot of sacrifices, but you can do it. We will discover these things as we grow together, so stay tuned, and goodbye for now…
