Words are powerful and evoke emotion. Words can be both helpful and harmful. Words are magical and should be used with the intent to create magic. But there are also words that can cause havoc. As humans we have the freedom to express ourselves, but who are we speaking to? I like to think that everything that comes out our mouths are affirmations. And this thought process has allowed me to be more mindful of what I say.
Now don’t get me wrong, there are times you want to exchange words that are not the best choices, but again it is important that you still express yourself. You may just need to be more selective on what you say and who you say it to. Again, intention is key. When you allow yourself to try something different, there will be mistakes, but with mistakes we learn. Give yourself and others grace. Practice your affirmations anywhere and anytime. You can recite them in your mind or out loud, whatever feels good to you. We are our own messengers, and planting seeds and pouring into ourselves can make a difference in how live our lives.
Affirmation Practice!
Repeat one or more of these affirmations throughout the day, or maybe during your yoga/meditation practice. You can also practice affirmations in the shower, during a walk, or right before bed. There is no right or wrong way, but to instead find a way to plant positive words into your mind EVERYDAY. Practice is key!

I am aware of who I am and dedicated to creating more of me.
I am learning to be more patient with myself, and trust what the universe has to offer.
