OM is a sacred chant and practiced by many different people (depending on one’s lifestyle). It is not just practiced in some religions, its is also practiced in yoga.
Your practice is yours, and you have your own reasons and feelings behind your practice.
For me, OM is healing in many ways. I feel more clear minded, less stressed, and reenergized.
There is some scientific research behind the use of the chant, and how it has proven its many benefits. Calming, soothing, creates positive energy, heart health, clarity, and thyroid health are some of many benefits behind OM.
Don’t be afraid to try something different. As someone who believes in holistic healing, it is important to incorporate such practices for natural self-healing.
You have the power within yourself to heal. It takes practice, and consistency is always key.
