Was it a dream?

I was living alone at the time. I’d just got out of a long-term relationship and was in the process of recovering from that abuse. I’d never lived alone before, but I do remember feeling peaceful and safe.

I was sleeping, and all of a sudden I can actually see myself sleeping. I can see everything in my new studio apartment, the low lit lights, the kitchen and my cats. It was like I was there, but in a different realm.

I had an out of body experience. It felt so real, but I remember thinking to myself how is this happening?

I was confused, but at the same time it felt cool.

Was I dreaming in a dream? Or was my spirit floating away from me?

I will never know, no one will ever know…
