Coming from a personal trainer background, Monique has worked with different types of people from athletes to those with injuries, including herself. She is a strength coach, with previous kickboxing, and dancing experience. During college, yoga was not the first option, but was an option that came to her. She earned her master’s degree in psychology, and this later sparked her interest in the health and fitness world. Becoming a personal trainer was gratifying but learning something is never ending, and so is growth. Learning about the human body, emotional distress, and mental capabilities, allowed Monique to connect with her clients in a different way. It is not just about the physical connection with the body, she believes in connecting in other ways to fully improve our overall well-being. Yoga has helped Monique in many ways, and her goal is to provide sessions that are deeply meaningful to the individual and embodies personal empowerment and development.
