30 MINUTE YOGA NIDRA
Think of meditation while laying down before bed. This is beneficial for everyone, especially for those who may have trouble unwinding before bed, trouble staying asleep, experiencing stress, anxiety, or chronic pain preventing from a deep restful sleep. Yoga Nidra helps prepare us for more quality sleep allowing us to fully relax and unwind after a long day.
30 MINUTE to 1 HOUR (Pranayama/Meditation Practice)
This type of practice involves breath and mental work. Think of yoga for the breath (pranayama), and yoga for the mind (meditation). Pranayama helps regulate our breathing, and meditation helps calm the mind. BOTH helps us become more present!
For 1 HOUR PRIVATE YOGA SESSIONS
VINYASA / YIN Yoga / Restorative / or Chair Yoga
Vinyasa– power flow sequence consisting of light cardio and strength. Recommended for re-energizing and challenging your body and mind.
Yin– deeper stress on poses consisting of a gentle flow, light flexibility, and deeper relaxation. Holding poses anywhere from 1minuter to 20minutes. Recommended to help increase flexibility.
Restorative– calming and rejuvenating to the body and mind. This type of yoga is usually practiced at the end of the day because of its calming benefits. Very light twisting and bending due to holding poses a bit longer (sometimes using props). Recommended for those who need to relax after a long day.
Chair yoga– Any type of yoga practice described above, but using a chair as your prop!
