As people pleasers (or people pleasers in recovery), we have to remember our feelings are just as valid as others, and it’s okay to NOT give in to others feelings ALL THE TIME…
You can acknowledge someone’s feelings without abandoning your own. And you don’t have to overextend to show your worth!
We’ve learned through manipulators, selfishness, and the dramatic acrobats, that not everything needs our attention.
Not everyone deserves a piece of your peace.
