Grievance of any kind can really take a toll on someone. But just like any challenging event in life, how are you getting back up from this downfall? Life can be full of surprises and sometimes we take it for granted. Not everything and everyone in our lives are meant to be there forever, however let’s still try to make the best of it while we can. Grievance can be humbling, but you have to learn to take things and people for what it is and not allow our expectations to take over.
How do you grieve?
Do you need to be around loved ones?
Do you need more time to be alone?
How do you process your emotions?
Do you have a healthy outlet to express your feelings?
Is there someone you can rely on for uncomfortable conversations?
Is there someone who can listen to you?
Is there someone who can be there for you, even in silence?
Do you have the appropriate boundaries for yourself and others while you’re grieving?
Please watch the video below to hear about my experience and how it has taught me valuable lessons in grieving alone, and being around a healthy and supportive environment. It is important to consider not adding more chaos to your life, especially while going through troubling times. Allow yourself to heal, but also allow yourself time. Be patient with yourself and be cautious of your surroundings.
